Circular Arizona’s 2026 grant, scholarship, and awards programs open through Oct. 1

Phoenix, Arizona — Circular Arizona’s mission is to foster an equitable circular economy for a sustainable Arizona. One step to achieving this mission is proudly offering our members annual grants, scholarships, and awards programs. This year, we’re opening applications and nominations a month early to provide members with more time and opportunity to participate.

Applications and nominations are now open and will close Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.

These opportunities are exclusively available to Circular Arizona members. Grants

Since the 1990s, Circular Arizona has awarded nearly $300,000 in grant funding to organizations committed to increasing recycling and diverting waste from landfills. As we expand our focus to include the broader circular economy, our grant program continues to support measurable initiatives that advance circularity and equity across Arizona.

For 2026, Circular Arizona will award up to $5,000 in grant funding to two eligible applicants.

Learn more and apply at CircularArizona.org/Grants.

Scholarships

We believe in investing in Arizona’s future environmental leaders. Circular Arizona’s scholarship program supports students pursuing careers or community action in the sustainability and circular economy fields.

Two eligible applicants will each receive a $2,500 scholarship in 2026.

Learn more and apply at CircularArizona.org/Scholarships.

Awards

Circular Arizona’s awards celebrate the people and organizations leading the way in circular economy innovation and implementation. We recognize schools, municipalities, businesses, nonprofits, and individuals demonstrating outstanding leadership and dedication to circular practices.

While awardees do not need to be members, only Circular Arizona members can submit nominations.
