Circular Arizona hosts 2024 annual meeting

Circular Arizona, formerly the Arizona Recycling Coalition, hosted its annual meeting on Thursday, Feb. 15, 2024 in Phoenix. This year’s celebration brought more than 50 members and guests together for lunch, a keynote presentation, our board election, scholarship and grant winner recognitions, and award announcements.

We would love to extend our heartfelt thanks to Refresh Glass for donating branded glass cups for all attendees, and to Tyler Eglen from Arizona State University’s Rob and Melani Walton Solutions Service and Beth Forsberg from Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona for their keynote presentation on the new Circular Plastics Microfactory partnership.

During our meeting, we said goodbye to Alexis Yaple and Jake Swanson as they completed their terms on the Circular Arizona board. They look forward to continue their active roles in fostering an equitable circular economy for Arizona in their work and as part of our organization.

Our board election welcomed back Terry Gellenbeck and Cristina Polsgrove, and introduced Lauren Click, Roberto Heredia, Traci Conaway, Damien Zachman, and Lisa Rotello. Click here to meet the Circular Arizona board members.
