Circular Arizona’s 2025 grant, scholarship, and awards program open through Oct. 4

Phoenix, Arizona — Circular Arizona's mission is to foster an equitable circular economy for a sustainable Arizona. One step to achieving this mission is proudly offering our members annual grants, scholarships, and awards programs. This year's grant, scholarship, and awards programs are now open! Applications and nominations are due Friday, Oct. 4, 2024.

Applications and nominations are open exclusively to Circular Arizona members. In addition to access to these programs, Circular Arizona membership offers free and discounted circularity events, an exclusive members-only monthly email with external grant and scholarship opportunities, and a members-only LinkedIn networking group. The nonprofit Arizona Students Recycling Used Technology received $3,750 in grant funding in 2024.

Grants

Since 1993, Circular Arizona has awarded nearly $300,000 in grant funding to organizations to increase recycling and divert waste from landfills. As we broaden our vision to include all aspects of the circular economy, we are excited to continue our grant program for measurable initiatives to foster an equitable circular economy for Arizonans. Circular Arizona will award up to $5,000 in grant funding to one eligible applicant.

Scholarships

Investing in Arizona's students interested in pursuing a career or community activism in environmental sustainability is imperative. Circular Arizona will award a $2,500 scholarship to one eligible applicant.

The City of Flagstaff was recognized at Circular Arizona’s 2024 Small Municipality of the Year.

Awards

Circular Arizona recognizes schools, municipalities, businesses, nonprofits, and individuals demonstrating high dedication, professional leadership, and successful implementation of circular economy practices. Award winners do not need to be Circular Arizona members, but members have exclusive access to submit nominations.
